During the year, a team of 5 teachers participated in a “project development plan” (PLP) through the state of NJ, to become familiar 21st Century learning and Web 2.0. The learning process included a digital age survey which made us better aware of our strengths and weaknesses in regards to using 21st Century technology.

To aid us in planning for future professional development priorities, please take the “Digital Age” survey by clicking on the link found below.The results of this survey will be used to determine a baseline of technology applications and help to provide educators with a new vision, guidance, training and support of 21st century skills.

Take the Digital Age Survey

Take the digital age survey and find out your strengths and weaknesses in regards to classroom instruction and the use of technology.

The results of the survey creates a personalized digital-age professional development profile aligned to the NETS for Teachers (NETS-T).

This profile is aligned to five popular instructional initiatives including

(1) Level of Teaching Innovation (LoTi),

(2) Partnership for 21st Century Skills,

(3) Marzano’s Research-based Instructional Practices,

(4) Daggett’s Rigor & Relevance, and

(5) Webb’s Depth of Knowledge.

The DETAILS for the 21st Century Questionnaire takes about 20-25 minutes to complete. The purpose of this questionnaire is to determine your current professional development priorities related to technology and instruction based on your current position (i.e., pre-service teacher, inservice teacher, building administrator, instructional specialist, media specialist, higher education faculty).

  1. The Access the LoTi Lounge at: http://www.lotilounge.com

  2. Click on the link that says 'Sign Me Up!' (in the 'I'm a New User' section of the LoTi Lounge login block)

  3. Follow the registration instructions on the screen. The Group ID and Password is the name of your state in all lower case letters without any spaces. For example:

  5. Password: newjersey

  6. LoTi Digital-Age Survey is free to all public schools in the United States.
    • Go to: www.lotilounge.com
    • Click on “Sign me up!” in the New User section to create an account.
    • Use the name of your state in all lower case letters as your Group ID and Password (e.g., pennsylvania, newjersey, florida) when registering
  7. Take the survey and PRINT your results.

  • Access the LoTi Lounge at: http://www.lotilounge.com

  • Enter your previously registered User ID and Password in the fields provided (in the 'I'm already registered' section of the LoTi Lounge login block), then click 'Submit' to enter the LoTi Lounge. If you are a registered user but do not remember your LOGIN information, click on the 'Need help signing in?' link. Entering your email address will prompt the LoTi Lounge system to email you a copy of your previously registered User ID and Password.
